This project was for a new client who owns a chain of estate agents. They were opening up an office in Woodford and called us in to provide the air conditioning as part of the office renovation. They wanted something different to a standard air conditioning installation, something with a ‘commercial’ look as opposed to a regular office presentation.
We kicked a few ideas around and from our discussions we proposed that we install a ducted air-conditioning system and ducted pipework system. But instead of enclosing the systems, as normal, we would leave them exposed, to give the commercial / industrial look and feel. The client agreed to our plan and is delighted with the original system design.
Training Centre Air Conditioning, Chelmsford
This new client has opened his first training centre a year ago. He has found that in the summer time the training centre can get very hot. SJB Mechanical was called in to design and install an air conditioning system which will keep the centre warm in winter but cool in summer.
Hackney Public Mortuary, Emergency Call Out
In the first month of covid-19 lockdown we was contacted by Hackney Borough Council to assist them in a problem that they was having at their mortuary.
Their main deep freezer system had completely crashed and the outdoor unit also stopped working. We analysed the situation and diagnosed the problem to be a compressor failure on this specific unit.
We sourced a compressor FSW locally and switched the system over within a 48 hours before any decomposition occurred.
Domestic Air Conditioning Installation, Brentwood
For this domestic project, the home owner found us on the web, via Google. Living in Brentwood they wanted a local company to carry out a small air conditioning installation in their townhouse. The access area to carry out the works very tight and confined.
In the property we installed two split air conditioning units. The manufacturer, Panasonic, has a strong reputation for innovation and the unit we fitted was a new model, being promoted for applications such as this one.
